AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected AoT Event for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the official release, "A strange meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret cult.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Locations and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Additional Content
Players who accomplish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
