The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
